Angel Hotel in Bury St Edmunds shut for a week due to staff self-isolating




A popular Suffolk hotel and restaurant has been forced to shut for a week due to staff self-isolating.

The Angel Hotel, in Bury St Edmunds, announced on its website that it has taken 'the difficult decision to temporarily close' the restaurant and hotel due to a number of staff having to self-isolate in line with government guidance on Covid-19.

It said they will be looking to re-open on Thursday, July 22.

It added: "We would like to apologise in advance of any upset that this causes but the health and safety of our staff and guests is paramount during this time.

"If you have a reservation with us during this time, the team will have been in touch with you to discuss this with you."

The hotel has been approached for comment.
