A14 crash between lorry and car outside Elmswell and Woolpit causing delays

There are traffic delays on the A14 in a construction area following a two-vehicle crash.

Police were called shortly before 8.15am to a collision between a lorry and a car outside Woolpit and Elmswell near Bury St Edmunds between junction 47 and junction 47A.

There are two miles of congestion on approach causing 20 minute delays above normal travel time.

According to a spokesperson for Suffolk Police, officers are the scene.
