Bury St Edmunds railway station ‘incident’ investigated by Greater Anglia

A rail operator is investigating an incident which affected passengers at a Suffolk railway station.

Passengers reported being greeted by locked gates at the station on Station Hill, Bury St Edmunds, early this morning.

One traveller said some were having to use taxis instead and that passengers trying to depart the station were ‘trapped inside’.
