Lakenheath farm decorates Claas combine harvester to say thank you to NHS and farmers
A young family who run a farm have decorated their new combine harvester with rainbows drawn by children as a thank you to farmers and the NHS.
Sophie and Thomas Clayton, who run Toggam Farm in Lakenheath, were sent in drawings from all over the UK and Ireland to put on their new Claas Lexion. Graphic designers have now helped apply the artwork to the machine.
Thomas said: “We wanted to raise awareness of the work of the NHS and farmers - two of the industries who have kept going and helped us through the crisis. Hopefully it will help remind people.”
In a push to raise £10,000 for NHS Charities Together, the Claytons said they will donate £1 for every acre the machine harvests this year.
