Wren kitchens and bedrooms set to open showroom at St Edmundsbury Retail Park, in Bury St Edmunds

A UK-based family-owned fitted kitchen and bedrooms firm is set to open a new showroom in Bury St Edmunds.

Wren Kitchens is taking on the former Carpetright unit at St Edmundsbury Retail Park, off Easlea Road.

The company says the Bury showroom is expected to open this summer.

The firm is advertising for a sales manager and retail sales designer for the new store.

Wren will be the retail park’s second new opening this year as Wickes – which has taken on the former Homebase site – will open on July 4.

It also means all units will be occupied for the first time since Carpetright went into administration last July.

Wren employs more than 4,000 people throughout the UK and describes itself as the largest kitchen retailer in the UK. It already has 115 showrooms.
