Road closed between A134 Compiegne Way and Hollow Road roundabout in Bury St Edmunds due to flooding and stranded vehicle

A major road in Bury St Edmunds has been closed due to flooding and police are advising drivers to find another route.

The road is blocked due to flood water between the A134 Compiegne Way and A143 roundabout and the Hollow Road roundabout.

One vehicle has become stranded in water.

A spokesman for Suffolk Police said a diversion is required.
