Part of the A134 in Bury St Edmunds has reopened following crash between lorry and pedestrian




Part of a major road in Bury St Edmunds has reopened following a crash involving a lorry and a pedestrian.

The southbound carriageway of the A134, near the British Sugar factory, has reopened.

Police were called to the scene at 12.45pm today and the vehicle was recovered at 3.43pm.

The northbound carriageway is expected to open shortly.

Earlier in the day, police advised motorists to find an alternative route.

The injuries the pedestrian suffered are still currently unclear.
