Several roads including A143 and A1088 reopen after lorry ‘tipped over’ at key roundabout in Ixworth, near Bury St Edmunds




Several roads have reopened after a lorry ‘tipped over’ at a key village roundabout and went into a hedge.

The incident happened at 11.30pm yesterday at the roundabout by Mulleys Motorways in Ixworth, near Bury St Edmunds.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson said the roads leading off the roundabout, such as the A143 and A1088, were reopened by 4.45am, after the lorry was recovered.

There were no injuries.
