Two Santa sleighs for good causes out in Bury St Edmunds this Christmas
Father Christmas will be out in Bury St Edmunds on two sleighs this festive season.
The Rotary Club of Bury will be taking its Santa sleigh – which has been refurbished since its last outings two years ago – around the town's supermarkets, collecting donations for charity.
David Mansfield, club president, said: “We are so grateful to the supermarkets who let us display the sleigh and collect, to those who house and maintain the sleigh and to all those who turn out to see the sleigh and donate to the Rotary charities and good causes.
"It’s really heart warming to see the excitement and wonder of the children as we take the sleigh around. It puts the joy of Christmas back into our hearts.”
The Rotary Santa sleigh will be at:
- Tesco on December 16 and 17
- Sainsbury's on December 20 and 22
The Rotary club welcomes new members – contact Cris Barlow on 07860 315944 for more information.

- December 15, Thurston and Elmswell
