New energy saving show at annual West Suffolk Business Festival
A show about how advances in technology can reduce companies' energy costs will feature at the West Suffolk Business festival in October.
West Suffolk's environment and energy team has organised a free show for businesses to learn about the future of electric vehicles, solar panels and energy storage.
The show will feature as part of the 10 day annual Business Festival organised by West Suffolk councils running from 2 to 12 October in Bury St Edmunds.
Business owners will be given the chance to meet leaders in the electric vehicles industry and test drive both luxury cars and commercial vans.
In a bid to improve the £5.3 billion cost of pollution predicted by Public Health England for 2035, the show will shed light on renewable energy sources that can reduce carbon levels.
Cllr John Griffiths, leader of St Edmundsbury Borough Council said: "We can help businesses save money on energy costs, access key grants and advice and in so doing, enhance and celebrate their green credentials."
The electric show is on Wednesday, October 10 at Denny Brothers, Kempson Way, Bury from 10am to 3pm. Register at wsenvbizfest.eventbrite.co.uk.
