Bury St Edmunds schoolgirl Souparnika Nair through to Britain's Got Talent semi-finals
A Bury St Edmunds schoolgirl has made it through to the semi finals of Britain's Got Talent.
Singer Souparnika Nair was among 40 acts to be named semi finalists in tonight's edition of the ITV show.
She was seen receiving the news in a call from judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden.
Souparnika said: "Thank you. I'm so excited to be going through to the semi finals. Thank you so much."
She previously wowed the judges with her rendition of Never Enough from film The Greatest Showman .
Souparnika is vying for a chance to sing at the Royal Variety Performance.
The first semi-final will air next Saturday.
