Stagecoach Bury St Edmunds is celebrating the success of its recent productions, Sister Act and Peter Pan.
Sister Act, by the Main Schools, and Peter Pan, by the Early Stages Schools, ‘captivated’ audiences and showcased the ‘incredible’ talents of the young performers.
The performing arts school said the children involved in the shows had a brilliant experience, immersing themselves in the world of theatre, honing their acting skills, and building lasting friendships.
Stagecoach Bury St Edmunds said: “Their dedication and passion were evident in every scene, song, and dance number, leaving audiences in awe. The success of these productions is a testament to the incredible team who worked tirelessly with the students.
“From our inspiring directors to our skilled choreographers, dedicated music coaches, creative costumes and dazzling sets, everyone played a vital role in bringing these productions to life.”
Principal Caroline Ranson extended thanks to everyone involved.
“Our productions of Sister Act and Peter Pan are a true reflection of the talent and dedication within our community,” she said.
“The children’s enthusiasm and hard work have been nothing short of inspiring. I am deeply grateful to our exceptional team and supportive families for making this possible.”
Last year, Stagecoach Bury St Edmunds was honoured to be nominated for NODA Best Youth Production with for its production, Shrek.
Stagecoach Bury St Edmunds has also announced its upcoming Summer School – they will be presenting performances from Trolls, Rock of Ages, Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, and Newsies.
