Looking back on 2022 it seems to have gone in a flash, but Christmas time is now suddenly here.
As December 25 rapidly approaches, readers of Suffolk News have sent in pictures of their Christmas trees as people become wrapped up in the festive spirit.
So without further ado, let’s have a look through this special array of branched beauties from Bury St Edmunds , Woodbridge , Diss and more.
Kicking off our list, we have a very well presented tree from Fiona Lincoln. However, it seems like not everyone is not too impressed with the decorations... These shining tree lights are incredibly bright, but they’re not as bright as that beaming smile on Santa’s face next to the tree! Stuart Ingram has well and truly sleigh-ed this Well, well, well. If this isn’t the definition of festive spirit, I don’t know what is! Jade Boreham has produced three tri-umphant trees for three different rooms of the house in style Wowzers. The colour of Gintarė Snape’s tree is absolutely luscious and it looks even better next a Harry Potter film. Magical! This is a brilliant tree from Emma Garham and she has done a cracking job of making sure Father Christmas is in a great spot to keep an eye on it. He’s always watching… The touches of pink are absolutely gorgeous here from Chelsi Thomas. It’s a bit different and it works like a charm That’s not all from Chelsi who’s also coming in with a snowy themed tree too. The two advent calendars are very good choices as well Beverley Masters has put together a sharp, clean tree here and have added an additional festive touch with the three presents of different sizes below as well The first tree on the list that is smaller than the decorations. With the blue light glowing through it, it’s a cute addition to the list from Paula Smith It’s a fantastically put together tree from Felicity Priehs who may have to celebrate… by hopping onto a game of Fortnite… Ice, ice, baby. The winter vibes from Joanne Earnshaw here are superb and are executed with delightful precision. Brrrrrrrrrr Jess Colman has delivered a colourful delight with so much going on it’s almost dizzying. The star on the top is the showstopper though It’s another winter vibes tree here which just gives off a magnificent glow. The cuddly toy is also truly adorable Joni Swain is getting in the festive spirit with a well-decorated tree and is that a large stocking ready to be filled there? Suffolk Ear Care in Woodbridge is coming in strong with the first tree outside on the list. The colours are breathtaking and the tree’s guardian is doing a fine job of keeping watch on the bench… Another very tasteful tree, this time from Linda Evernden who has expertly wrapped some pearls around the branches. Lovely stuff Gingerbread decorations - they look amazing, but how long till they end up in something’s mouth? Unless of course, Lindsey Studd has smartly bought non-edible ones… We have another mini tree addition to the list and there’s no doubt it helps light up that room with festive joy. Good choice from Casey Leah Fugoni Megan Walker has gone for a long and slimmer vibe here and she pulls it off. Let’s just hope that’s not the only present on Christmas Day! With the natural light coming in through the back and the wonderful variety of decorations on display - this makes a splendid tree. Cracking job Miriam Green Possibly the tallest tree on the list, Sylwia Dominczyk has draped those pearls superbly and they really catch the eye Stunner, absolute stunner. Those flowery decorations from Hayley Rix elevate this whole picture to another level The audience is not red-y for this absolute goddess of a tree. The powerful colours of red combined with the fleeting touches of gold is delightfully charming. Take a bow Tanita Russell Let’s just take a moment to comprehend how much this tree is glowing. Clearly some sort of wizardry has been used here by Angelique Collins to make it glow THAT much Wow. Wow. Wow. This blue and white combination from Carra Louisee Jones is fantastic - anyone getting Frozen vibes? Although the picture may not be the clearest, you can still see Carolyn Kane has put in some serious effort here with the tinsel and decorations to make this tree look magnificent.
