Luton trio to be sentenced after stealing more than £13,000 in jewellery from Bury St Edmunds shop Romark





A trio who stole more than £13,000 worth of jewellery from a Bury St Edmunds shop will be sentenced next month.

Loredana Sava, 34, Loredana Sava, 31, and Radu Niculescu, 29, all of Pembroke Avenue, in Luton, appeared before Ipswich Crown Court today.

They were accused of theft in relation to a robbery from Romark, in Abbeygate Street, on February 17.

The 31-year-old admitted the offence during today’s hearing.

Both the 34-year-old and Niculescu pleaded guilty when they appeared before Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on February 27.

The trio were arrested in Luton on February 25. A vehicle was also seized after the robbery.

All have been remanded in custody and will be sentenced on May 23.
