Seven Suffolk pantomimes taking place this Christmas with shows at Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal and Ipswich New Wolsey Theatre
Nothing says 'Christmas' quite like a family night out at a festive pantomime, and Suffolk's offerings this year will not disappoint.
From Robin Hood to Cinderella, these shows are sure to get the whole family laughing, singing and feeling the Christmas spirit.
1. The Legend of Robin Hood - Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds
Pantomime season kicks off this year at the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds, with family favourite Robin Hood.
This classic show explores the tale of hero Robin Hood who steals from the rich to give to the poor along with his followers Maid Marion, Little Joan and young Rob.
This panto runs from November 25 to January 14, with family ticket options, SEN and dementia performances and a British Sign Language option available.
2. Jack and The Beanstalk - Marina Theatre, Lowestoft
This year the Marina Theatre in Lowestoft is bringing Jack and the Beanstalk to audiences.
They promise fabulous costumes, stunning sets and brilliant song and dance numbers.
Popular Terry Gleed will return to the stage as Simon Trott, Jack's humourous brother, while X-factor star Sam Callahan will play Jack and Brian Blessed will voice The Giant.

3. Cinderella - The Regal Theatre, Stowmarket
From December 3 to December 11, the classic Cinderella will come to life on the stage at The Regal Theatre in Stowmarket.
This marks the Stowmarket Operatic Dramatic Society's centenary year and the show promises toe–tapping musical numbers, corny jokes and fun for all ages.

4. Goldilocks and the Three Bears: The Rock and Roll Panto - New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich
An exciting new twist on the classic Goldilocks and the Three Bears fairytale, this rock and roll pantomime kicks off on November 24 and runs until January 28.
The show boasts over 20 songs played live by a company of actor-musicians, and promises to amaze and delight families.
5. Cinderella - Beccles Public Hall and Theatre
From December 17 to January 2, this show promises all the traditional elements of a Christmas panto with plenty of boos and hisses to boot.
Laugh out loud comedy, stunning scenery and beautiful costumes are promised at this show, which should cater to everyone in the family.

6. Snow White: The Christmas Panto - Spa Pavilion, Felixstowe
Packed with laughs, singing and dancing and with a one–night–only adult version,this year's show at the Spa Pavilion in Felixstowe promises a festive night of fun.
From December 23 to January 2, with an adult performance
on December 30, this 2 hour and 15 minute long show tells the magical story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Adult tickets start from £20 while under 16s start at £12 and a family of two adults and two children start at £60.
7. Rapunzel - Newmarket King's Theatre
Nomads amateur dramatics society will bring the festive cheer this year with their performance of panto classic Rapunzel.
From December 14 to January 21, families will be able to enjoy the magical tale at Newmarket King's Theatre.
