With the festive period in full-swing, a festive afternoon tea could be just what you need to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Serving festive afternoon tea every day of December, The Angel in Bury St Edmunds could be a great place to dine in style and celebrate the season.

For £28 per person, this treat comes with teas from around the world, a selection of savoury delights including Norfolk Turkey sandwiches and brie and cranberry muffins, and even includes a glass of bubbly.

2. Ravenwood Hall, Bury St Edmunds

Ravenwood Hall's christmas afternoon tea offering includes festive sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, and tasty sweet treats to follow.

Available weekdays in December, and coming complete with artisanal tea and coffee, this treat costs £20 per head, with add-ons for prosecco or champagne.

3. Procopio's pantry, Bury St Edmunds

Another offering in Bury St Edmunds, Procopio's Pantry is hosting a festive afternoon tea menu for £24.99 per person.

The menu includes the typical sandwiches and sweet treats as well as some intriguing extras such as the Xmas Onion Soup and Tucked Up Toad in the Hole.

4. The Swan, Lavenham

The Swan in Lavenham near Sudbury is serving a festive afternoon tea that kicked off on November 21.

For £27.50 per person or £44.50 each including a glass of Champagne, this traditional tea includes finger sandwiches, festive scones and cakes and unlimited refills of Newby’s of London teas.

5. Nancy's Vintage Tearoom, Newmarket

Available from November 29, Nancy's Vintage Tearoom in Newmarket is offering a menu full of festive sweet and savoury treats this year.

The delights being served include smoked salmon sandwiches, quiches, rich christmas cake and sherry trifle.

6. Painter's at The Angel, Sudbury

High Tea is available for collection or for dining in from December 1 onwards at Painter's.

For £16.50, you will get bottomless tea or cordial, sandwiches with fillings of your choice, home made scones with jam and cream and four festive sweet treats.

7. Applaud Coffee, Ipswich

From November 14 to December 22 Applaud Coffee in Ipswich is serving a special festive afternoon tea for £24 per head.

Available for sit in Monday to Saturday from 2pm, each person will receive a four mini sandwiches, a warm sausage roll, mini mince pie, cranberry and orange scone, chocolate tiffin and mini cupcake.
