Severe delays and A14 lane closed after four-vehicle crash at Beyton, near Bury St Edmunds

There are severe delays and a lane closed on the A14 following a four-vehicle crash.

Officers were called at 4.45pm to the incident on the major route eastbound at Blackthorpe, near Bury St Edmunds.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson said lane two is totally blocked and the severity of any injuries haven’t been confirmed yet.

Officers remain at the scene.

According to the AA traffic map, there are long queues along the route, heading back towards Bury.
