Stowmarket shed burglaries are latest in 'a large number' of burglaries in the county in recent weeks as police urge residents to review security




Police have urged residents to review their security after recent Stowmarket burglaries have added to the 'large number' of burglaries that have taken place in our county in recent weeks.

The statement also appealed for witnesses to the two recent Stowmarket incidents to contact police.

A shed on Tippett Avenue was broken into sometime between 5.30pm Friday May 22 and 9am on May 23.

The lock was forced and a Boardman pedal cycle was stolen (crime reference number 37/28200/20.)

A report was also received on May 24 of a shed burglary in Campion Crescent, with no time scale given for the incident.

The lock was forced and a chainsaw, leaf blower, strimmer, two cutters and a petrol can were stolen (crime reference number 28670/20.)
