Bury St Edmunds' arc shopping centre spreading the love on Mental Health Awareness day
The arc in Bury St Edmunds is offering free vouchers to residents this weekend as part of a mental health awareness campaign.
The shopping centre partnered with Suffolk Mind this year and they have been helping the charity to raise awareness and funds for the cause.
In tandem with Mental Health Awareness day this Saturday, the shopping centre is inviting people to enjoy a treat on them.
They will display a number of posters throughout Bury St Edmunds on the day.
Each poster will have a selection of quotes along the bottom, with a number printed on.
People will be able to tear off the quote and number and take it to a member of the arc's promotional team in Charter Square.
The team will then swap it for an envelope which will have a treat inside.
The treats include £5 Costa vouchers, £15 Hotel Chocolat vouchers and Wagamama and Nando’s ‘meal on us’ vouchers.
The promotional team will be in Charter Square to accept redemptions from 10am - 5pm.
Steve Bunce, centre manager, said: “It is important to raise awareness of Suffolk Mind and spread positivity throughout Bury St Edmunds for Mental Health Awareness Day.
"We hope our inspirational quotes and the ‘treats on us’ will help to increase wellbeing and raise awareness of how people can contact Suffolk Mind."
Amanda Sturgeon from Suffolk Mind said: “We’re so grateful to the arc for their continued support.
"It’s great to ‘Spread The Love’ on World Mental Health Day this Saturday and raise awareness of Suffolk Mind and the support we can provide."
