Yellow weather warning for wind in Suffolk to be put in place





A yellow weather warning will be put in place for Suffolk as Storm Isha brings strong winds to the UK.

The Met Office has confirmed that incoming winds could reach up to 70mph in exposed locations like the coast and there could be some damage to buildings and power cuts.

The wind warning will be in place from noon on Sunday, January 21 to noon on Monday, January 22.

Other areas of the country will have an amber warning for wind during the same time period.

Forecasters are suggesting that residents should prepare to protect their property by securing bins, garden furniture and trampolines which could be blown away.
