Stowlangtoft nursing home opens new on-site shop

Old fashioned sweets and bundles of nostalgia were the order of the day as Stowlangtoft Hall Nursing Home celebrated opening an on-site shop last week.

Not only can residents purchase treats and toiletries from the shop but there is also a postbox to help them keep in touch with friends and family.

Manager Sally Chilvers, who cut a ribbon to declare the shop officially open, said it had been a long held dream of hers and she knew it would be a ‘real success’.
