James Carn, head chef and owner of Lark restaurant in Bury St Edmunds wins Chef to Watch category at The Good Food Guide Awards

The head chef and owner of a Suffolk restaurant which is set to celebrate its first anniversary next month has won a Good Food Guide Award.

James Carn, who owns Lark in Bury St Edmunds with his wife Sophia, has scooped the Chef to Watch category tonight at the awards ceremony held at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London.

It comes in the same week that the Angel Hill establishment, which was also in the shortlist for the Best New Restaurant category at the event, was awarded the only Bib Gourmand in Suffolk by the Michelin Guide.
