Suffolk issued yellow weather warning as heavy rain could cause flooding and travel disruptions
Heavy rain is expected to sweep across Suffolk tomorrow and could cause travel disruptions and flooding.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for outbreaks of rain across many parts of England and Wales.
There is also the possibility of road closures, difficult driving conditions and power cuts in the county.
Forecasters have warned there is potential that 30 to 50 mm of rain could develop, much of which could fall in six hours or less.
Some locations could see 80 to 100 mm over the course of 12 to 24 hours.
Residents are being warned to check road conditions before driving to avoid delays and to amend any travel plans if necessary.
An amber warning is in place tomorrow for central and southern England.
