Suffolk man to appear on Jobfished documentary on BBC Three

A Suffolk man is to appear in a programme airing tonight investigating the mystery behind a fake glamorous design company.

Jobfished, starting at 9pm on BBC Three, will look into the bizarre story of Madbird, a company which was set up in 2020 and tricked its own staff into thinking it was real through an online universe of fake profiles and stolen work.

Catrin Nye, investigative journalist, will look into what really happened, and confront the boss of the former company, Ali Ayad.

One man who worked for the fake company, Jordan Carter, from Suffolk, will appear in the programme later this evening and share his experience.

Jordan, who was 26 when he joined Madbird, was known for being one of the hardest working staff members.

He at one stage was handed an Employee of the Month title.

The show will also speak with a number of other former employees of Madbird, who will shed light on their experiences while working for the company.
