Suffolk photographers capture more images of the northern lights in Cockfield near Bury St Edmunds, Chedburgh and Dunwich
Suffolk photographers have captured more stunning pictures of the northern lights after they were seen above our skies for the second night.
The rare spectacle could be seen across the county, as people braved the cold temperatures to catch a glimpse of the lights.
It was the second night in a row they could be seen, although people across the country were treated to clearer skies on Sunday.
Adam Barnes captured this stunning image at Dunwich beach.
His partner, Helen Hayes, said: "It was a bucket list moment. I'm so glad we decided to go and look for the lights.
"It was freezing cold but worth it.
"There were quite a lot of people there. Some people in tents were going to camp through the night."
John Fitch took this picture of the phenomenon in Cockfield, near Bury St Edmunds.
Sightings of the Aurora are rare this far south, as they are typically seen around the North Pole or Arctic Circle.
Geraldine Rand took this image in Chedburgh.
The Met Office predicted on Sunday that the lights might be visible due to a coronal hole high speed stream combined with a fast coronal mass ejection.
More sightings are expected in the coming days.
The northern lights could also be seen in Gestingthorpe, just south of Sudbury in Essex.
