Suffolk Police officers to take on Three Peaks Challenge for charity

A team from Suffolk Constabulary will be taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge, over 24 hours today and tomorrow, in aid of the road safety charity, Brake.

The group is made up of officers of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) and Forensic Collision Investigation Unit (FCIU) as well as officers from departments who have had to deal first-hand with casualties and families after road traffic collisions.

Team member Det con Barry Teare, said: “We wanted to do something for Brake because we see the great work they do, including supporting and counselling those affected by collisions, and we wanted to promote them.”
