Suffolk to be hit with heavy rain as Met Office issues yellow weather warning

Suffolk is set to be hit with heavy rain this weekend as yellow weather warnings are issued across the country.

The Met Office warning will be in place from 3pm today until 6pm on Sunday.

Spells of rain, some heavy, will push east across most areas.

Disruptions to bus and train services are likely as well as spray and flooding on the roads.

Last Saturday, a yellow warning for heavy downpours was also issued for the county.

Business and homes might also be affected by flooding.
