Risby Park nursing home near Bury St Edmunds hosts summer fayre for residents from across Suffolk




Care home residents from across Suffolk enjoyed a summer fayre hosted by Risby Park nursing home, near Bury St Edmunds, owned by The Partnership In Care Ltd (TPIC).

Residents from the company’s homes in Risby, Sudbury, Ipswich and Halesworth gathered for the event on Tuesday, June 25.

Each home embraced different themes, including Ipswich Town, Peter Rabbit, The Sixties and Peter Pan, with colorful costumes and displays.

The event also featured a hog roast, ice cream and Pimm’s for attendees to enjoy.

Clinical director Rachel Fitton said: “These events bring so much joy to everyone not just on the day but also in the lead up as the homes prepare and engage everyone in their creations and plans.

“Watching the smiles and hearing the laughter is the best reward for us all, I am very proud of all the Homes and what they achieve by enabling people to live as they choose and feel very honoured to support such a fantastic and talented group of residents.

“I can’t wait for ‘TPIC has Talent’ in the autumn.”
