Suspected drug-driver with no licence arrested in Thurston near Bury St Edmunds




A suspected drug-driver was arrested in a Suffolk village last night after producing a positive drug wipe.

The Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team, stopped the vehicle in Thurston with assistance from Bury St Edmunds Police shortly before 8.15pm.

In a tweet, the policing team said the motorist also did not have a driving licence and their vehicle was then seized by officers.

The passenger was also arrested on suspicion for immigration offences.
