Firefighters had a false alarm after they were called to remove suspected parachuting equipment stuck on a mast.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to help police with the incident at 7.53am at Brockford and four crews were sent.
However, what appeared to be parachuting equipment turned out to be engineers' equipment for scaling the mast.
Firefighters from Ipswich, Needham Market, Bury St Edmunds and Lowestoft were initially mobilised.
