Teenage boy seriously injured in crash at Tot Hill, near Haughley, which shut A14 for nearly 15 hours




A teenage boy suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a van and a lorry which closed the A14 for nearly 15 hours.

The road was shut for nearly 15 hours after emergency services were called to the eastbound incident at Tot Hill, near Haughley, just before 3am yesterday.

A passenger in the van, a boy in his late teens, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital after suffering serious injuries.

Officers would like to hear from any witnesses or from motorists who have dash cam footage of or prior to the incident.
