Teenager arrested after 17-year-old boy injured in fight and rucksack stolen in Bury St Edmunds




A teenager was arrested after a 17-year-old boy suffered head and facial injuries in a fight in Bury St Edmunds.

The incident involved at least three males at the junction of Westley Road and Out Risbygate at about 3.45pm on Friday, May 21.

A rucksack was also stolen from the boy but was dropped a short distance away as one of the males fled the scene.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail until June 11.

Anyone with information, or who may have been driving in the area at the time of the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle, has been urged to contact Suffolk Police quoting crime number 37/26691/21.
