Suffolk issued with yellow weather warning for snow as temperatures plunge
A weather warning has been issued for snow and ice across Suffolk as temperatures begin to plunge.
The Met Office has implemented a yellow alert from 9pm tonight until 10am tomorrow morning for the whole of the county.
A spokesperson for the service said difficult conditions are likely.
It comes as freezing temperatures return to Suffolk, with snow forecast in some areas.
Gritters are on standby due to the cold conditions.
A cold weather alert is already in place as a result of the arrival of a northerly airflow drawing icy air from the Arctic across England.
