Cartoonist John Elson puts his spin on the Government's winter Covid plan

Bury Free Press cartoonist John Elson is no doubt looking forward to his Covid vaccine booster jab . . . or perhaps he isn't.

The news that all over-50s and vulnerable people will get booster jabs as part of the Government's plan to keep coronavirus at bay this winter caught John's eye.

Hopefully there'll be no sting in the tail.

John, a self-taught artist, has been drawing cartoons for newspapers for nearly 20 years.

He draws the cartoons digitally using a stylus and large art tablet.

He also attends festivals, weddings and corporate events drawing live caricatures.
