LEARN MOREStaff at a new Thetford store in the newly-finished Breckland Retail Park have chosen a town charity to officially open it on Friday.
The B&M store nominated the team from the Charles Burrell Centre, in Staniforth Road, to take centre stage at the unveiling of the store, alongside the Mayor of Thetford, councillor Brenda Canham.
Mark Ellis, the store manager, said: “The team at Charles Burrell Centre really stood out for us as they go the extra mile for local people in the community, we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work they do."
In addition to opening the new store, the team will also receive £250 worth of B&M vouchers to go towards the charity, which the manager hoped would help them continue the great work that they do.
The store has undergone an internal and external refurbishment programme and has created 60 new jobs for the area.
The opening of the new B&M store, in Breckland Retail Park, will take place on Friday at 9am.
