Thetford Town Council thanked the people who helped create the town’s Guildhall poppies display with a public reception at the Carnegie Rooms last week.

The poppy making volunteers were invited to the event on October 18, after they knitted and crocheted more than 6,000 poppies for the project.

The full poppy display across the Guildhall will be on show during Thetford’s Remembrance Sunday Parade on November 11.
