Police still hunt for two males as victim, stabbed multiple times in A134 Bury Road Thetford, remains in critical condition





A fortnight-long investigation into the attempted murder of a Thetford man is continuing as he remains in critical condition in hospital and officers are still hunting two males believed to be involved in the incident.

Emergency services were called to Bury Road in the town on Sunday, March 10, at around 11.45am, to reports a man had suffered multiple stab wounds.

The victim, a man in his 30s, remains in Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.

Three people, a woman in her 40s, a woman in her 20s and a man in his 40s, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy on the day of the incident, but have been released on police bail until May 7.

Another woman, in her 30s, was arrested at an address in Cambridge the next day after the stabbing on suspicion of assisting an offender.

But after being taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning, she was released under investigation.

Detectives continue to search for two males, thought to be involved in the incident.
