Angela Rippon spotted at St Edmundsbury Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds

An award-winning journalist, TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing contestant was spotted in Bury St Edmunds today.

Angela Rippon, 79, visited St Edmundsbury Cathedral this afternoon.

She will be a compère at the High Sheriff of Suffolk’s Command Performance charity event at the Theatre Royal this evening.

Last year, she was a contestant on Strictly and made it to the BBC show’s Blackpool week.

She has presented TV shows including Antiques Roadshow and Rip Off Britain.
