Thousands flock to Euston Estate, near Thetford, for the East Anglian Game and Country Fair




Thousands of visitors took advantage of the warm spring weather to enjoy a two-day rural event near Thetford at the weekend.

The East Anglian Game and Country Fair attracted hordes to the Euston Estate, the home of the Duke and Duchess of Grafton, for the annual showcase of countryside sports and farming lifestyle.

With a packed ring programme, cookery demonstrations, shopping opportunities and more, there was plenty to enjoy.

The Shetland Pony Grand National drew plenty of spectators, along with fly fishing demonstrations, gun dogs, ‘horseboarding’ and motocycle stunts from the OMG FMX stunt team.

Alpacas, ferrets and falconry were a hit with visitors, while plenty also took aim with archery, air rifle and clay shooting ranges.

Off-road vehicles were also in the spotlight, alongside miniature off-road vehicles for children to take for a spin.
