10-year-old Jasmi Cooke has a new ultra-lightweight wheelchair being built now that the necessary funds have been raised.

Having beaten leukaemia twice, her treatment left her wheelchair-bound, and her first wheelchair was difficult to use due to her limited strength.

The doctors who treated her have come to the rescue however, raising funds on a Gofundme page, with £6,347 being raised in under two weeks.

The page is now closed, with the Emma Holloway Foundation donating just over £1,000 to help the fund-raiser meet its target.

Her new custom-built wheelchair, with all the accessories she needs will be delivered within six weeks.

Jasmi's mum Rowena said: "People who donated are all absolutely amazing. I can't believe the generosity, love and support."
