Three people due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court after large quantity of stolen goods found in vehicle stopped on A14 at Risby

Three people are due in court later today after a large quantity of stolen goods was found in a vehicle on the A14 at Risby.

At around 5.35pm on Monday, police officers stopped a black Volkswagen Polo and found toiletries, clothing and groceries inside.

The three occupants, a man and two women, were arrested on suspicion of theft and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Narcisa Vasile-Vaduva, 18, of no fixed abode and Mirela Vasile, 22, of East Road in London, were both charged with handling stolen goods.

Dumitru Marus, 20, also of East Road in London, was charged with handling stolen goods, as well as driving with no insurance.

They are all due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
