Tickets now available for next free screening of Moana 2 at Bury St Edmunds Cineworld

Tickets are now available for a free screening of Disney’s latest animated film.

Thomas Howard has once again hired a cinema to help those struggling due to the cost-of-living crisis or disabilities.

Fifty movie fans will get the chance to watch Moana 2 at Cineworld, in Bury St Edmunds, on December 12.

Thomas said: “I’m delighted to announce that I will be holding my sixth free community screening.

“These screenings have become a vital way of brining the community together and I look forward to expanding our reach and hosting even more inclusive event in the years to come.”

Since June of last year, the founder of the Bury Film Group has self-funded three of the five screenings for about 500 people, at a cost of more than £2,000.

This is Thomas’ first event organised with the help of a £1,600 grant from West Suffolk Council, following the transformation of the Bury Film Group into a community interest company (CIC) in September.

Launching the CIC has made it possible to receive this grant as well as any future funding.

It also means people can now volunteer for the group and Thomas said anyone interested should contact him.
