Tom Jones to perform at Newmarket Nights

Tom Jones will headline Newmarket Nights as part of a UK-wide tour this summer.

The Welsh legend will perform hits at the town racecourses on Friday, July 24, and joins the likes of Rick Astley, Jack Savoretti and Bryan Ferry on the summer programme.

The Jockey Club-run event invites horse racing fans to see an evening of racing at Newmarket, before Sir Tom takes to the stage from around 9pm.

Tickets go on sale this Friday (January 31) for £32.48 and are on presale from tomorrow (Wednesday, January 29).

Fans will be expecting some of Sir Tom's greatest hits, including What's New Pussycat? Delilah and It's Not Unusual.

The singer, also recently known for appearing as a judge on ITV show The Voice, will celebrate his 80th birthday in June but is as active as ever - releasing his 41st album Long Lost Suitcase in 2015.
