Police have urged businesses to be vigilant after power tools were stolen in three west Suffolk burglaries.

Early last Thursday a pane of glass was smashed in a door at HSS Hire in Cratfield Road, Bury St Edmunds, and industrial tools stolen, including, concrete breakers, drills and a floor sander. (Crime reference 42015/18.)

Later the same day an offender was seen leaving an agricultural business in Wickhambrook after the alarm went off. A chainsaw, strimmer and set of hedge trimmers were. (41922/18).

Then at 2.15am on Friday two people forced entry to Travis Perkins in Milner Road, on the Chilton Road Industrial Estate in Sudbury and stole power tools. (42030/18).

Call Suffolk police on 101, quoting the reference number.
