Bury St Edmunds handbag theft prompts police warning on car security

Motorists are being reminded to ensure their vehicles are locked and that belongings are removed after a handbag was stolen from the rear seat of car parked in Bury St Edmunds.

The incident happened on Angel Hill between 11am and 11.15am on Saturday.

Suffolk police are appealing for information on the incident.
