Bury St Edmunds nightclub Verve taped off after suspected arson




Police have taped off a Suffolk nightclub after a suspected arson.

The entrance to Verve, in Woolhall Street, Bury St Edmunds was taped off by officers this morning (Saturday, November 26).

A forensics van was also spotted outside the nightclub.

On an Instagram story, Verve said that it was due to an arson in the early hours of the morning on Saturday.

It said: "We have had a small arson attack at the club entrance in the early hours of the morning.

"Everything is under control, and the building is safe.

"We will be back open as usual from 12pm."

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said crime scene investigators will attend the scene.
