Bury St Edmunds’ brew-tiful dilemma: Number of town centre coffee shops and cafés revealed

With more and more cafés popping up in Bury St Edmunds, it seems the town has brewed up a storm of options — but are there too many to pick from?

Bury has much to offer, from its history to Greene King beer, but in the case of coffee shops, can there be too much of a good thing?

This year, we have noticed SuffolkNews readers often comment on our social media posts about the growing number of cafés in the town.

With this in mind, we decided to count the number of cafés in the town centre.

Our criteria:

♦ This is strictly about town centre outlets – these are the options that would not involve a car journey or long walk out of the central area.

♦ Although Bury has numerous pubs that also serve coffee during the day, our list focuses on venues where hot drinks reign supreme.

♦ If we have missed any coffee shops off the list, let us know – email sam.harrison@iliffemedia.co.uk
