Ellisons solicitors welcomes three new members to its Bury St Edmunds property team




A law firm has grown its Bury St Edmunds property law team with three new members.

Ellisons, based in Linden Square, King’s Road, has welcomed Marc Robson as paralegal, Mark Beaton as senior associate, while Jonathan Greenhalgh joins as partner.

The move means the specialist team now has eight members to help clients across all aspects of residential and commercial property work.

The real estate team includes specialists dealing with all aspects of commercial and residential conveyancing, including acquisition and disposal of commercial, mixed use and residential development sites, option and promotion agreements, acquisition and disposal of commercial and mixed use investment properties and secured lending.

Mark Beaton brings 30 years of legal experience to the firm, having worked at two firms in Bury Throughout his career, he has progressed from solicitor to partner and head of department.

He specialises in residential conveyancing, sales and purchases, mortgages, remortgages, transfers of property, and equity release matters.

Jonathan Greenhalgh is a highly regarded expert and brings with him a wealth of experience to the firm. He specialises in all aspects of commercial property matters and has experience in dealing with a varied client base that includes investors, landlords, tenants, and developers.

Marc Robson has several years’ experience as a commercial property surveyor specialising in the retail property sector and advising high-net-worth investor clients, landlords, private and family property companies and funds on investment, agency and lease advisory matters.

He is due to qualify as a solicitor in 2024.
