Bury St Edmunds Rickshaw service given thanks on BBC's The One Show featuring Victoria Pendleton, Ronan Keating, Matt Baker and more

A Suffolk town's rickshaw service appeared on national television this evening.

Bury St Edmunds Rickshaw was featured on the BBC's The One Show on Thursday night and volunteers from the charity were given a big surprise.

Sam Reid and Libby Ranzetta were ridden around the town's Abbey Gardens by former cyclist Victoria Pendleton thinking they were making a programme about cycling.

However, Victoria stopped them and said: "We haven't been making a programme about cycling, I'm actually here on behalf of The One Show, to give you both a one big thank you for all the wonderful work you do."

The pair received a series of messages from stars including Ronan Keating, Matt Baker and Sue Perkins as well as MP Jo Churchill.
