Bury St Edmunds roads including Mount Road and A134 at standstill after major A14 crash





There are major delays across a Suffolk town following a serious crash on the A14.

The crash was first reported at 2.35am and the road was closed between junction 43 and 44 in Bury St Edmunds.

There are huge tailbacks of traffic throughout the town with Mount Road on the Moreton Hall estate currently gridlocked.

The AA traffic map is also showing long queues on other roads including the A134 near Nowton Park, Bedingfeld Way and Compiegne Way.

The road has now reopened.
